Derby starts officially at 8 am and ends promptly at 1 pm
Last time of fish check in will be 1:00 pm
Participants ages 6 yrs – 16 yrs
Awards - 3 Divisions:  6 – 8 years old  and  9 – 12 years old and 13 - 16 years old
Awards to be given: 1st place through 3rd places Trophy, in all three ( 3 ) Divisions.
And boys and girls combined Divisions. Other prizes may vary.
The Award ceremony will begin approx 1:30 PM at the pavillion.
Fish Scoring
All fish will be scored by, length and weight and number of fish caught will break any tie.
Please practice “Catch and release”  (ALL FISH must be released if possible after check in)
Shore fishing only – 1 line per child.
No adults allowed to Fish during the derby, they may assist their child if needed.
10 Fish limit – each youth may check 10 fish with in the time limit.
After checking in their fish they will be asked to leave the pond area, to allow others to fish.
Bait allowed:
Live bait, worms, meal worms, shiners. Spinners, spoons, marsh mallows.
All Maryland Fishing Laws apply!
Rod & Reel method of fishing only.  *Must bring your own equipment.
“NORMAL Appointed Derby officials will have last say.”
BAIT Worms will be provided, - a small amount will be given out to each child - While supplies last!
Trash - Carry In - Carry Out!  PLEASE HELP KEEP THE AREA CLEAN.
