The NORMAL Inc. Youth Fishing Rodeo program is designed to provide our youth and their families a chance to experience the outdoors together and learn about fishing. Our goal is to instill a lifelong love of fishing and the outdoors in our young people. These events provide opportunities for families to share fun and quality time together while participating in one of Maryland’s favorite pastimes.
The rodeo is open to anyone age 17 and under. Admission is free DONATIONS ARE WELCOME, however, participants are asked to pre-register as space is limited and all youth must be accompanied by an adult.
Each young angler will be eligible for prizes. Snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase. In addition, each participant may take home fish based on Maryland Fishing Regulations, but may catch and release all they would like.
Participants should bring their own fishing equipment, a limited supply of bait will be available on site.
