The Founder Garry Holman starts the 2012 Challenge Campaign.
On December 31st Master Garry Holman made a challenge to a few friends to give up something like a pack of cigarettes a week and donate the cost to NORMAL Inc. for 1 year. His goal was to raise $201,200.00 with in one year to help the growing numbers of clients due to a really sluggish economy.
What started as a simple conversation has turn into a challenge to all who want to make a difference. The Challenge Campaign ask you to donate money you would spend on coffee, beer, cigarettes, sodas etc. for one week to NORMAL Inc. The Challenge Campaign has a to fold process, by not drinking for one week you not only help NORMAL Inc. help the homeless and at-risk youth and their families but you will also begin a healthier life style.
Here is how this works I stop and buy a cup of coffee and a newspaper seven days a week and I spend about $3.00 a day, seven days a week, so $21.00 a week I donate to NORMAL Inc. for one month $84.00 just from me.
Now think if 24 of us took the challenge at $84.00 a month, we would raise $2016.00 towards the goal of $20,120.00 a month as you see our monthly goal is obtainable if we all do our part.
If you are interested and taking the challenge email thechallenge@wnormalhdqt.org list what you will be giving up and the amount you spend in one week or the amount you will be donating to NORMAL Inc.
If you don't want the challenge and want to donate click the paypal but below and donate, no amount is to small to make a diffrence in the life of a hungry person or an at risk child.
