Lowe's of Hagerstown Hero's Project help's NORMAL Inc. open Power Pack Center.
Thanks to an effort initiated by Tracy Schindel the Executive Director of our NORMAL Inc., Lowe’s has selected NORMAL Inc. Power Pack Program to receive a Lowe’s Heroes Project Grant! Tracy led Bill Cosner, Jane Jasper, and Curt Byrum, members of the Lowe’s grant selection team on a tour of the proposed Power Pack Center of NORMAL Inc. and introduced them to Garry Holman, the founder. Team members referenced the diversity of our clients, the passion of our volunteers, and the nature of our programs as reasons for our selection.
The Lowe's Heroes program encourages employees to team together, adopt a volunteer project with a local non-profit organization and make a difference in their community. Representatives from two area Lowe’s stores will be doing this on November 12th and completing the project December 17th, when they visit NORMAL Inc. Power Pack Center to make improvements to the Power Pack Back Pack storage and distribution center.
