NORMAL INC NATURE AND CONSERVATION PROGRAM CRIPPLED BY CLEAR SPRING MD, HISTORIC FLASH FLOOD.

Recently the historic flood of Clear Spring impacted NORMAL Inc Nature and Conservation Camp when the floods dumped all the debri into Uncle Dicks Pond. The clean up is a project in itself but the loss of 5 year conservation project is going to be a 2 year recovery and thousands of dollars to restock the pond and restore the plant a tree tree project that started last year.

Our Nature and Conservation programs starts in April and ends in August every year with our fishing derbies. The impact of this event has changed the once popular fishing and nature area for youth groups for years to come. We are hopeful that our efforts now will keep this from being a total loss to the youth of the county.

NORMAL is seeking donations to assist with the recovery efforts of the pond.
